Licuas T & C enters the pipe rehabilitation market in Qatar

Licuas T & C has been awarded with a contract from Ashghal, which consists in performing non-intrusive rehabilitation of the sewer pipelines. This rehabilitation will be done using two methods, lining and patching, being the first Spanish company to offer this kind of service in Qatar.

All these operations will be carried out with own equipment, in which is included:
  • UV lining equipment.
  • CCTV and a pole camera.
  • Patching equipment.
  • Jetting and suction vehicles.
Patching is a rehabilitation method for small and localized defects on the pipes, that consists in installing a small piece of fiber glass on the affected area of the pipe and attach it.

Lining on the other hand is used for the rehabilitation of partly or totally deteriorated pipes, consists in introducing a liner on the pipe by pull-in and after that, to cure it with UV radiation.

A combination of short time installment, an upgrade of the characteristics of the pipe, a longer duration (up to 50 years) and a low environmental impact makes lining a very good alternative for the rehabilitation of pipes.

Licuas T & C as a company committed to the future and development, is bringing the Spanish knowledge at the service of Ashghal and Qatar.
